100 CLEFT PORTRAITS: Art Exhibit
Traveling art exhibit celebrating diverse portraits with family workshops at Wonderscope.
This traveling exhibition brings 100 portraits and personal stories of individuals born with cleft to your community. Created by artist and trauma-informed coach Katie Manning, the collection celebrates the experiences and resilience of people with cleft conditions. This marks the first-ever U.S. tour of the exhibition, with Wonderscope serving as one of just 12 stops across the country. The show is presented by the American Cleft Palate organization and sponsored by Children's Mercy.
During your visit, families can view the portrait gallery and participate in specially designed workshops and activities that create space for connection and understanding. Whether your family has personal experience with cleft or you're simply interested in learning more, this exhibit offers a meaningful way to celebrate diverse stories. General admission applies—children ages 2–15 and adults are both $16, while children under 2 are free. For more details, reach out to Wonderscope directly at (816) 643-6700 or info@wonderscope.org.
