5th Annual Great Plains Art, Food & Maker Festival

Bring the family to this celebration of creativity, music, and regional flavor at Lawrence's scenic Sesquicentennial Point Park. You'll explore an outdoor marketplace filled with professional artists, handmade goods vendors, and culinary creators—around 100 booths in all. Food and dessert trucks offer curated options, plus local baked goods and beverages. Live music runs throughout the day, featuring headliner Rhythm Republic and other performers. The setting overlooks Clinton Lake and the surrounding valleys, making it a beautiful spot to spend your Saturday. Admission is just $10 per person; children 15 and under get in free. The festival supports an important community project—ticket proceeds go toward building a permanent amphitheater at the park. If you'd like to extend your visit into a fall weekend getaway, camping with hookups is available nearby at Clinton Lake State Park. The event is produced by the Great Plains Emerging Arts Project, a nonprofit supported by the City of Lawrence.
