A Pirate's Feast at GloWild
Pirate-themed evening at GloWild, the Kansas City Zoo's seasonal light show and attractions.
A Pirate's Feast at GloWild is an inclusive dining experience that combines a themed buffet with live entertainment and special attractions. Your evening begins with a pirate-themed meal served at the Boathouse, featuring dishes like Jamaican chicken skewers, jambalaya, BBQ meatballs, and crab cakes, plus a dedicated kids' menu with child-friendly options. During dinner, costumed pirate performers put on an interactive show designed to engage the whole family. The package also includes admission to GloWild (the zoo's nighttime festival), a boat ride along the scenic Kenyan Cruise (weather permitting), and access to a cash bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Complimentary transportation connects the dining venue to other areas.
Pricing ranges from $42 for children and seniors to $55 for adults, and each seating holds up to 120 guests. Two dinner time slots are available each evening. The event runs Friday and Saturday nights, with one blackout date to note. If you've already purchased GloWild admission separately, the zoo's Guest Relations team can help adjust your package to avoid paying twice. This experience works well for families wanting a full evening of dining, entertainment, and exploration all in one outing.
