A Pirate's Feast at GloWild
Pirate-themed adventure at the Kansas City Zoo's GloWild evening event.
A Pirate's Feast brings dinner and entertainment together at the Zoo's Boathouse, where costumed pirates host a lively show while you enjoy a buffet meal overlooking the waterfront. The package includes GloWild admission, a pirate-themed dinner with options like Jamaican chicken skewers, jambalaya, BBQ meatballs, and crab cakes (plus a kids' table with family favorites), a live interactive pirate performance, and a scenic boat ride on the Kenyan Cruise. A cash bar offers cocktails and mocktails for adults. The experience works well for families with kids of various ages, from young children to older adventurers.
Tickets are $42 per child or senior and $55 per adult, with two dining times available (6:30–7:30 p.m. or 7:30–8:30 p.m.). The event runs Friday and Saturday evenings from mid-September through late October, with a limited capacity of 120 guests per time slot. If you've already purchased GloWild admission separately, contact Guest Services to adjust your package cost. An early-bird discount of $6 per ticket applied through August 24. All standard Zoo safety guidelines apply for the boat ride.
