Afternoon Tea: 1860s Style!

Step back in time at Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm for an elegant afternoon tea experience inspired by 1860s customs. Your family will sample two to three varieties of tea alongside a selection of period-appropriate treats while learning about the history and etiquette of Victorian-era social gatherings. Between sips, guests can try their hand at authentic games that were popular during that era. This activity works best for children ages 10 and up. Admission is $25 per person for tea only, or $40 if you'd like to add a rental 1860s costume to complete the experience. Weather permitting, the tea will be held outdoors under the trees or on the farmhouse porch. If your family chooses to rent period clothing, you'll receive additional details beforehand to ensure everything is ready for your visit.
