Alpacas After Hours: Rewind & Unwind

Evening alpaca encounter at YaYa's Alpaca Farm—relaxation and animal fun.

Looking for a calm evening away from the week's chaos? This monthly gathering invites adults (20+) to spend 90 minutes in the alpaca pasture, surrounded by the naturally soothing presence of these gentle animals. The experience pairs soft, nostalgic music from the 1960s–1980s with an intentionally unstructured evening—you set the pace. Feed the alpacas, enjoy a picnic dinner you bring, play oversized lawn games like giant Jenga or cornhole, or simply sit in a rocker and decompress. The farm provides seating, a 12-foot community table, and open pasture space; bring a blanket if you'd like to relax on the grass. Sessions run 6:00–7:30 PM on rotating Fridays or Saturdays (May through September), capped at 30 guests. Tickets are $15 per person and must be purchased in advance. Bring your own meal and beverages (alcohol is not permitted). The farm is wheelchair accessible with concrete pathways and a small ramp, though some surfaces are uneven due to the rural setting. Written tour materials are available upon request for deaf and hard-of-hearing guests. Whether you meditate, read, chat quietly, or simply alpaca-watch at sunset, there's no agenda—just intentional rest.
