AWANA Clubs
Church-based youth clubs with games, service, and Bible lessons for kids and teens.
AWANA is a Wednesday evening program at Lenexa Baptist Church designed to help elementary-age children grow in their faith. Kids ages 3 through 5th grade gather weekly to engage with Scripture through activities, games, and memorization exercises tailored to their age level. The program emphasizes not just learning Bible passages, but understanding how to apply biblical principles to daily life and developing confidence in their faith journey.
Meetings run from 6:30 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday nights, with the fall session beginning in August and running through November, followed by a spring session from January through May. Children must be 3 years old by August 31st to participate. Registration opens July 1st through the church's online portal.
