Bonner Blast

Bonner Blast is a summer celebration featuring some of the area's best food trucks, live music, and fireworks. The evening runs from 6 to 10 p.m., with the band Fast Times performing classic 80s hits to keep the energy high. Food trucks will be parked throughout Centennial Park, offering plenty of dining options as you enjoy the music and atmosphere downtown. Getting there is convenient—free shuttle service runs from Bonner Springs High School starting at 5:45 p.m., so you can skip the parking hassle and head straight downtown. The fireworks show launches at 9:45 p.m., though organizers note that downtown isn't the ideal spot to view them. Plan to enjoy the food, music, and festivities, then head back to your car by 9:30 p.m. if you want to find a better vantage point for the fireworks display.
