Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo transforms the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium into a Halloween celebration perfect for families with young children. Kids dressed in their costumes can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the zoo grounds in a fun, non-frightening environment. Children ages 12 and under receive a collection bag at the entrance to gather treats as they explore. The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days, giving your family plenty of time to enjoy the activities at a comfortable pace. All activities are included with your regular zoo admission or membership, so there's no extra charge beyond entry. If you're a Friends of the Zoo member, you'll have access to an exclusive hour from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. before the general public arrives. It's a great way to experience Halloween festivities while exploring the animals and exhibits your kids love.
