Ciderfest 2026

Ciderfest at Louisburg Cider Mill celebrates the harvest with cider, food & fall fun.

Ciderfest at Louisburg Cider Mill is a two-weekend celebration that brings together everything families love about fall. Running for two consecutive weekends in late September and early October, this event draws thousands of visitors and offers completely free admission and parking. Each day features a pancake breakfast from the Louisburg Lions Club in the morning, followed by activities that run until evening. Kids can enjoy pony rides, inflatable slides, and face painting (with varying costs for each activity), while everyone watches cider being made fresh from apples—from washing through pressing—and enjoys hot or cold cider, cider donuts, caramel apples, and other treats. The festival atmosphere continues throughout the day with live bluegrass music performed on the Lost Trail stage outside the Country Store, craft vendors selling handmade items like candles and furniture, and food options including kettle corn and smoked turkey legs. There's plenty to explore and taste, making it an ideal outing for families looking to experience classic fall traditions in one location. The Louisburg Cider Mill's Country Store also remains open year-round if you want to return for fresh cider and donuts any season.
