Cottonwood Tales

Join O.P. the Bookworm, Miss Laurel, and friends for an engaging story time experience designed for the youngest learners. During this interactive 30-minute session, children will enjoy nature-themed stories, fingerplays, and music that spark curiosity about the natural world. Depending on the weather, your group will either gather indoors at the Education Center or head outside to enjoy the gardens while learning together. This program is ideal for families with children under five and runs on the first Saturday of each month (except July). A caregiver must attend and register for the program. Participation costs $5 per child; caregivers and siblings attending only need to pay regular Arboretum admission, which is free for ages 5 and under, $3 for ages 6–17, and $7 for adults 18 and up.
