Cottonwood Tales

Monthly storytelling adventure at Overland Park Arboretum with O.P. the Bookworm and friends.

**Cottonwood Tales** Bring your young child to this delightful monthly story time at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. Led by beloved characters O.P. the Bookworm and Miss Laurel, children enjoy interactive storytelling centered around nature themes, complete with fingerplays and songs. Sessions last about 30 minutes and take place at the Education Center, with outdoor adventures on nice days. This program is designed for families with children under 5, and it sneaks in early literacy and math skills while keeping things playful and engaging. The program runs the first Saturday of each month (skipping July) at 10 a.m. A caregiver must attend and register. The $5 fee applies per child participant; caregivers and older siblings only pay regular Arboretum admission, which is free for ages 5 and under. You can register through the online ticketing link provided.
