Discovery Day at the Arboretum

Bring your kids to this monthly craft program where they'll create nature-inspired take-home projects while exploring the gardens. Each Discovery Day features a different seasonal craft—this month's theme involves building bugs or constructing a bug hotel. All supplies are provided, and projects are offered on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 100 participants. The best part? This program happens to fall on Free Admission Day at the Arboretum, so there's no cost for entry or participation. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon, giving families a three-hour window to enjoy both the craft activity and the grounds at their own pace.
