Fallasburg Park: Hike with a Naturalist

Join Blandford Nature Center's environmental educators for a guided nature walk designed for beginners and curious explorers of all levels. You'll learn practical skills like using field guide apps and nature guides to identify plants and animals as you explore what's currently thriving in the park. This is a wonderful way to discover seasonal highlights in your local green space while building your naturalist know-how. The program works best for adults and children ages 12 and up, though younger children are welcome with a registered adult supervisor—this is not a drop-off program. Admission is $5 per adult and child (ages 2+), with children under 2 free. Plan to arrive a few minutes early since the hike begins promptly. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes for unpaved paths, as the program happens outdoors rain or shine. Pre-registration is recommended since space is limited and remains open until one hour before the start time; walk-ins are accepted if spots remain available. If you have mobility concerns, let organizers know in advance so they can make adjustments.
