Fireworks! With Cátia Chien

Celebrate the season with author and illustrator Cátia Chien, the 2026 Caldecott Medal winner, at an adults-only evening dedicated to her beautiful picture book *Fireworks*. Written by Matthew Burgess, this illustrated gem captures the magic of summer and Independence Day through a family lens. You'll enjoy a presentation from Cátia herself, followed by a question-and-answer session where you can connect directly with the artist. The highlight of the evening is a hands-on letterpress postcard activity in The Rabbit hOle's Print Shop—a chance to create something special to take home. Each ticket includes a copy of *Fireworks* and one drink. Doors open at 5:30 with the program starting at 6:00. Note that this is an 18+ event (photo ID required), and museum admission is separate.
