First Friday at Belger Arts - Exhibitions Closing + Live Clay and Glass Blowing Demo + Artist Remarks + More!

Join us for First Friday at Belger Arts this September! It's your last chance to see the current exhibitions—"Beat the Heat" and "Proximity and Practice: Belger Arts Thirteenth Annual Resident Exhibition"—before they close the next day. Resident artists Sara Alfieri and Tyler Suter will share remarks about their work at 6:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from the creators and learn what inspired their pieces. Throughout the evening, watch working artists in action. Resident ceramic artist Zoey McLeod will demonstrate her hand-building and sgraffito techniques on decorative baskets, while Emily Potter from the Belger Glass Annex will lead a live glass-blowing demonstration. Both demos are free to watch, making this a wonderful way for families to see professional artists at work and discover different art forms. The gallery is open during evening hours, giving you plenty of time to explore at a relaxed pace.
