Garden n Grow

Garden 'n Grow is a summer gardening program designed for children ages 9–13 who want to get their hands dirty and learn where food comes from. Over the course of the summer, participants will plant, care for, and harvest their own garden plots under the guidance of experienced Extension Master Gardeners from Greater Kansas City. No prior gardening experience is necessary—whether your child is curious about plants or completely new to gardening, they'll build real skills and confidence while spending time outdoors. The program runs twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) from early June through early August, with each session lasting two hours in the morning. The total cost is $50 for all 20 sessions.
