Garden n Grow

Garden n Grow invites kids ages 9–13 to spend their summer learning to garden alongside Master Gardeners from the Greater Kansas City area. Over the course of twenty sessions running Mondays and Thursdays from June through early August, children will plant seeds, care for garden beds, and harvest the vegetables and plants they've grown. Whether your child has gardened before or is stepping into a garden for the very first time, this program teaches real skills while building confidence and fostering a genuine appreciation for nature and growing things. Each two-hour session combines hands-on outdoor work with age-appropriate instruction designed to keep kids engaged and excited. The entire summer program costs $50 per child. To register, families should complete the online sign-up by May 12, 2026.
