Georgia’s Chicken Run

Join the 26th annual Georgia's Chicken Fun Run/Walk at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead for a morning of activity and celebration. This event welcomes participants of all ages, from babies on up, with separate courses designed for different age groups. The baby walk is geared entirely toward fun with no registration required, while older children run distances ranging from 1/8 mile for the youngest to 1/4 mile for kids ages 5 and up. Every registered participant receives a medal, and the top three finishers in each category earn special chicken trophies to commemorate their achievement. Sponsor booths throughout the event offer additional activities and giveaways. Registration opens online and closes Thursday evening before the event, though same-day sign-ups are available starting at 7 AM the morning of the race. Early-bird pricing of $25 per runner applies through July 13, after which the fee increases to $30.
