Kansas City Chalk & Walk Festival

Watch the pavement transform into an open-air art gallery at this free, family-friendly festival! You'll see talented chalk artists at work, creating everything from traditional street paintings to mind-bending 3D pieces designed to play with perspective. Live vertical painting will also be happening throughout the weekend, and The Traditional Music Society performs Saturday morning at 11 a.m. It's a great chance to see artists bring their visions to life in real time while strolling through City Market.
