KC Nerd Fest

KC Nerd Fest is a free block party celebrating comics, games, and creative culture in Independence's Englewood Arts District. Families can expect cosplay displays, comic book vendors and local authors, tabletop and trading card games, food trucks, and indie creators selling unique items. Whether your kids dress up in costume or simply enjoy browsing, there's something for every interest and age group. A raffle runs throughout the event, with tickets available for purchase on-site. The drawing takes place during the festival, and all raffle proceeds support the restoration of the historic Englewood Theatre located in the Arts District. It's a great way to have fun while supporting a meaningful community project.
