KC Timber Challenge (The OG) 5K Obstacle Course

The OG KC Timber Challenge is the original obstacle course event that's making a comeback, and it's held at ZIP KC in Bonner Springs. Participants tackle a 5K distance course featuring 30 different obstacles designed to build strength, endurance, and mental toughness. The best part? There's truly something for everyone—whether you're a fitness enthusiast or just looking for a fun challenge with friends, you can go at your own pace and decide how hard you want to push yourself. This year brings a new competitive option: the 8:45am wave is officially timed and ranked, with cash prizes and points awarded toward the Heartland Elite OCR series for top finishers. All other wave times are casual and untimed, so you can focus purely on the experience and having fun. No matter which wave you choose, you'll find an obstacle course that meets you where you are and gives you an unforgettable day out.
