King Arthur and the Magic Sword

King Arthur and the Magic Sword

Live theatrical adventure featuring King Arthur and the Magic Sword at Union Station.

This production brings the classic legend to life, set in 5th Century Britain during a time of turmoil. With the Roman Empire crumbling and warlords vying for control, young Arthur—trained by the wizard Merlin—emerges as the only one capable of wielding the legendary sword Excalibur. The story explores themes of justice and leadership, making it particularly meaningful for older kids and teens who are beginning to think critically about right and wrong in the world. The show runs through late July at Union Station with multiple performance times throughout the week. General admission is $12 per person, though Union Station members receive a discounted rate of $10. Various showtimes are available Tuesday through Saturday, with some days offering multiple performances, so you can find a time that works best for your family's schedule.
