KKFI Crossroads Music Fest

This is the 22nd year of Kansas City's beloved Crossroads Music Fest, a full day of live performances spread across multiple venues in the West Bottoms. The celebration kicks off with a free daytime party at Rock Island Bridge from noon to 3 p.m., featuring three bands, a marching band performance, snow cones, face painting, and sponsor booths—perfect for families wanting to sample the festival vibe without commitment. The ticketed evening festival runs from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., with over 25 bands and DJs performing across seven stages at various locations, including Lemonade Park, Stockyards Brewing, The Campground, and Voltaire. Children 12 and under get free entry to all stages with a parent or guardian, making it an accessible option for families interested in live music. The festival also features a West Bottoms marketplace with over 40 local makers and vendors. You'll need to pick up a wristband at Lemonade Park after 2:30 p.m. to enter the ticketed portion.
