Low Sensory Morning
Sensory-friendly museum morning for visitors with sensory sensitivities—calm, welcoming exploration.
Low Sensory Morning events are specially designed for children and adults who experience sensory sensitivities, autism, or anxiety in typical museum environments. During these quieter sessions, lighting is dimmed, noise levels are reduced, and the pace is gentler—giving families space to explore exhibits without overwhelming stimulation. Staff are trained to be patient and accommodating. It's a welcoming way for neurodivergent kids and their families to enjoy cultural experiences at their own comfortable speed.
