Music @ Main: Percussion Jam

Come get in the groove at this hands-on percussion session! Led by a professional drummer, your family will work together to share beats, build rhythms, and create music as a group. This is all about collective fun and good vibes—no prior drumming experience or musical knowledge needed. Everyone, regardless of age or ability, is welcome to participate and explore what you can make together. The session runs for an hour and takes place in the South Wing Reading Room on the second floor of the Main Library. It's a relaxed, inclusive environment where families can discover rhythm together without any pressure to perform or have special skills. This is a free program that celebrates creativity and group participation.
