Native Plant Sale at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center
Native plant sale organized by Missouri Prairie Foundation at the Conservation Discovery Center.
The Missouri Prairie Foundation is hosting a native plant sale in partnership with the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center. Multiple local nurseries and vendors will be on hand, including City Roots Nursery, Gaylena's Garden, Missouri Wildflowers Nursery, Ozark Soul, Sow Wild Natives, and Tallgrass Nursery. You'll also find native bee houses and plant-inspired home goods from Leaf & Sky. It's a great opportunity to stock your garden with plants suited to our region while supporting conservation efforts—vendors donate a portion of proceeds to the Missouri Prairie Foundation.
The event is completely free to attend. Most vendors accept various payment methods, though some take cash or checks only. If you're planning to buy plants, bring crates or boxes to haul them home, or volunteers may be available to help load your vehicle. You can also pre-order plants ahead of time and pick them up when you arrive. Early shoppers should plan to wait until the official start time before beginning to browse and purchase.
