Nature Storytime

Your little ones will love this nature-focused storytelling session at the Arboretum! Nature Storytime brings together kids ages 1–6 for a 45-minute program packed with stories, songs, and movement activities led by Stepping Stones KC. The experience takes advantage of the beautiful gardens—you'll gather indoors during cooler months and move outside when weather permits. It's a wonderful way to spark curiosity about nature while enjoying music and playful activities together. This program runs on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Admission is $5 per participating child, plus regular Arboretum entry fees ($3 for ages 6–17, $7 for adults; free for ages 5 and under). Caregivers and siblings pay only standard admission. Friends of the Arboretum members get in free. You'll need to register ahead of time, and a caregiver must stay with the children.
