Nature Storytime

Bring your little one to an interactive outdoor learning experience at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. Nature Storytime welcomes children ages 1–6 on select mornings throughout the year, led by instructors from Stepping Stones KC. Each session combines storytelling, music, and movement activities that connect kids with nature in a playful, engaging way. During warmer months you'll explore outside; when it's cooler, the group gathers indoors at the Environmental Education Center. This 45-minute program costs $5 per child participant, plus regular Arboretum admission ($3 for ages 6–17, $7 for adults; free for children 5 and under). Siblings and caregivers pay standard admission only. If you're a Friends of the Arboretum member, admission is free. Registration is required, and a caregiver must attend.
