Needle Felting with Alpaca Fiber

Your child will explore the creative art of needle felting using soft alpaca fiber in this hands-on beginner class. Led by Mrs. YaYa, kids ages 5 and up will learn essential techniques including how to safely use different needle types (coarse, medium, fine, and star needles), understand what makes alpaca fiber special, and discover design basics. The class covers working with color and texture, and each student completes a small project to take home while building skills for future creations like felted animals or pictures. Classes meet once monthly on Mondays at 2:00 PM, and all materials are provided as part of the $40 per-person cost. This introductory session gives families a complete introduction to the hobby—by the end, your child will know what supplies they'd need to continue felting at home. Kids who want to keep learning can arrange additional sessions by contacting the farm directly.
