Oktoberfest at Border Brewing Company

Border Brewing Company is hosting an Oktoberfest celebration with a quirky local twist. The brewery has buried a stainless steel firkin of beer underground since spring, and on September 27, guests and staff will dig it up together at 5 PM to tap it fresh—with no one knowing exactly how it will taste until that first pour. The event runs from 4 to 7 PM and features a limited-batch Hefeweizen on tap, showcasing the traditional Bavarian wheat beer's characteristic banana and clove notes. A local vendor, Brit Boy Street Food, will serve freshly made sausage rolls and meat pies alongside the brewery's regular food and drink menu. Admission is completely free with no tickets needed, and all ages are welcome to attend.
