River Market Urban Hike

This urban hike takes you through Kansas City's historic River Market neighborhood on a guided walking tour. You'll explore about 2.5 miles of mostly flat terrain with a gentle incline, spending roughly three hours learning the area's fascinating stories—from tales of the mafia to the Lewis and Clark expedition and Kansas City's origins along the Missouri River. A highlight includes a stop at the Town of Kansas Bridge overlook, where you'll discover the history of the first bridge to cross the Missouri River. The hike costs $47.70 per person after fees and is led by Urban Hikes Kansas City. This is a wonderful outing for families who enjoy walking, history, and getting to know the city on foot.
