Rosedale Arch, Volker & Roanoke Bi-State Urban Hike

Urban hike through historic Rosedale Arch, Volker & Roanoke neighborhoods.

Join Urban Hikes Kansas City for a guided walk that crosses state lines and showcases some of the area's most interesting neighborhoods. Starting at the Rosedale Memorial Arch, you'll head into Kansas to explore the vibrant shops, restaurants, and street art along W. 39th Street. From there, the group moves into Missouri to discover the Volker and Roanoke areas, known for their historic homes, tree-lined boulevards, and parks. This three-mile hike takes about three to three-and-a-half hours and includes some unique stops: a visit to a bat cave and a tour of the Thomas Hart Benton Home and Studio. The experience costs $40.28 per person and runs from 8:30 AM to noon. It's a great way for families who enjoy walking and learning local history to see parts of the Kansas City area they might not otherwise explore.
