Rosedale Arch, Volker & Roanoke Bi-State Urban Hike in Kansas City
Lace up your hiking boots for a guided urban adventure that crosses state lines and explores some of Kansas City's most interesting neighborhoods. This three-mile hike begins at the Rosedale Memorial Arch and takes you across to West 39th Street, where you'll discover local shops, restaurants, and murals. From there, the route moves into the Volker and Roanoke areas, where you'll stroll past historic homes, leafy boulevards, and parks while learning about the region's character and history.
Along the way, you'll hike the scenic Roanoke Park Trail and tour the Thomas Hart Benton Home and Studio, adding cultural depth to your outdoor experience. Plan for about three to three-and-a-half hours total. The hike is led by Urban Hikes Kansas City, and tickets are $47.70 per person (after taxes).
