South KC Block Party at Red Bridge Shopping Center

Join the annual celebration of South Kansas City at this community-wide gathering hosted by Red Bridge Shopping Center and the South KC Chamber of Commerce. Running from 10am to 3pm, the block party brings together roughly 100 vendors including local artists, crafters, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. It's a great opportunity to browse handmade goods and support community groups, with plenty of early holiday shopping options available. Kids will find plenty to keep them entertained with face painting, caricature artists, balloon art, games, and the chance to explore trucks—including a KCFD Fire Truck on-site from 11am to 1pm. Multiple food vendors and food trucks will be serving everything from breakfast and lunch to coffee and ice cream. Live music and entertainment rounds out the day, featuring student performances plus dueling pianos. Best of all, admission is completely free, and parking is available in the shopping center lot, nearby neighborhoods, and a dedicated lot west of the FEMA building.
