Summer Activities: Love — 1860s Style!
Step back in time at a historic stagecoach stop and farm to experience 1860s life and activities.
Spend a summer day at Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm exploring what romance looked like in the 1860s. Your family will experience hands-on living history activities throughout the grounds, including touring the historic farmhouse, visiting the livestock barn, and watching skilled demonstrations of blacksmithing and cookstove cooking. Kids can pet the animals, help out in the garden, play period-appropriate games, and enjoy a ride on the stagecoach.
Admission is $9 for adults and $7 for children ages 5–11, with free entry for children 4 and under. Your ticket includes access to all activities on-site. If you're planning to bring a group of 10 or more people, the farm asks that you register ahead of time. This is a great option for families who enjoy interactive history and outdoor exploration.
