The Berlin Wall. A World Divided. Exhibition at Union Station - May 29-Dec. 13, 2026

This exhibition at Union Station explores one of the 20th century's most powerful symbols of division. Through four distinct sections, visitors encounter over 200 original artifacts—many displayed in North America for the first time—alongside personal testimonies and historical media. The show traces the origins of the Cold War conflict, the decades when the wall physically separated a city, and its fall in 1989. An included audio guide (available in English, Spanish, and French) enriches the experience with carefully curated storytelling. Created by Spanish company Musealia in partnership with the Berlin Wall Foundation, the exhibition brings together perspectives from people who lived on both sides of the wall. This is a thoughtful choice for older kids and teens studying 20th-century history, as well as adults seeking deeper understanding of this pivotal era. Admission ranges from $15 for children ages 4–12 to $48 for adults, with discounts for seniors and military (military tickets purchased at the box office). Groups of 15 or more should book in advance. A 10% preservation fee applies to all tickets.
