The Pittsburgh Congenital Heart Walk

The Pittsburgh Congenital Heart Walk

Free community walk supporting congenital heart awareness—a meaningful family activity.

The Pittsburgh Congenital Heart Walk brings together families, survivors, and supporters for a meaningful one-mile walk that honors those lost to congenital heart disease and celebrates those still fighting. This family-friendly gathering takes place over a few hours in the morning, with registration starting at 8:30, an opening ceremony at 9:30, and the walk itself kicking off at 10:00. It's a chance to connect with others in the heart community while supporting research that has led to breakthrough advances in treatment and care for children with CHDs. You can participate by registering to walk, volunteering, or donating to help fund research. Walkers who register and raise $100 receive an official walk t-shirt. If you want to extend the celebration, specially priced Pittsburgh Pirates tickets are available for their 1:35 PM game that day, with each ticket purchase including a $10 donation to the walk. Whether you're personally connected to congenital heart disease or simply want to support a meaningful cause, this event welcomes everyone to be part of 30 years of community impact and hope.
