The Royal Showcase - A Youth & Open Horse Show

The Royal Showcase is an all-breed horse competition welcoming young riders ages 8–18 and adult exhibitors 19 and older. Participants compete across multiple disciplines, including Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation, Ranch Horse Classes, and Versatility events. There's also a Novice division featuring walk-trot-only classes for riders just starting out. The event runs from Friday through Sunday, with arrivals beginning Friday morning and departures following the conclusion of Sunday's competition. The show takes place at the new American Royal Campus, a sprawling 80-acre facility. If your family is considering attending or competing, note that a warm-up area is available around the clock throughout the weekend, though evening lighting is reduced. Plan for Friday arrival no earlier than 10 AM and expect to wrap up by Sunday afternoon.
