Shawnee Town 1929 is a living-history museum that recreates small-town life from the early 20th century. During this "Time Travelers" event, families step back in time to explore authentic buildings, learn how people lived a century ago, and often participate in hands-on activities that bring history to life. Kids and adults alike discover what school, shopping, work, and daily routines looked like in 1929—with costumed interpreters and interactive demonstrations that make the past tangible and engaging.
