Time Travelers: Keep It Clean

Your family can step into life on a 1929 farm and help with summer cleanup duties. Kids will wash the family car, tidy up the farmhouse, and prepare vegetables for market—all hands-on activities that show what daily chores looked like a century ago. This themed program day is part of the Time Travelers Summer Series at Shawnee Town, where visitors explore the historic truck farm and recreated downtown at their own pace. Staff and volunteers are stationed throughout the site to guide your experience. All activities are included with general admission to the site. Families who are Friends of Shawnee Town members get in free all summer long. Instead of guided tours during program hours, you're welcome to wander and interact with the historic interpreters as you please.
