Women's Empowerment Day

This is the second annual celebration of women in the Kansas City community, happening at Ward Parkway Center's South Pavilion. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m. and is completely free to attend. You'll find over 25 local vendors showcasing women-owned businesses, giving you a chance to shop and support local entrepreneurs. There's also a Kansas City Current merchandise booth for sports fans. Beyond shopping, there's plenty to enjoy as a family. Live DJs Kim K and Kaci will provide music throughout the afternoon, and complimentary mini massages are available. Food trucks and beverages will be on-site, so you can grab a meal while you browse. The first 100 guests receive a free goodie bag, so arriving early is worthwhile if you'd like one. It's a laid-back afternoon focused on celebrating, connecting with the community, and discovering local women-owned businesses.
