Young Actors Workshop (Ages 3-7)

This week-long drama workshop invites preschoolers and early elementary kids to explore creativity through movement, improvisation games, and theatrical play. Led by instructor John Mulvey, children will develop imagination and critical thinking skills in a fun, supportive setting. The workshop runs Monday through Friday, with daily one-hour sessions, and wraps up with a live performance on Friday evening so families can see what their children have learned. Attendance also counts toward the library's Summer Reading program—kids who sign up get a free book, and reading any five books between June 1 and August 15 earns a prize. If your child needs ADA accommodations to participate, contact the library at least three business days in advance. Space is limited, so register through the library's website as soon as possible.
